Hi, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Amy K. Abney and I am the face behind AKA Photography.
I am a Dallas based lifestyle photographer. A “documentarian of life” is what I have been called at times and this is very much true– there is not a day that goes by that I don’t document/capture something with my camera!
Of course, having three amazing children have been some of my biggest inspirations. I started this photography journey almost 16 years ago when my oldest was born. I truly believe my gift to capture life and its precious moments was God given and I am so grateful to be able to pursue a career that I love every moment of.
Pictures are priceless– I believe that. We all have phones these days that take pretty awesome photos, and we live in a time with taking photos has never been easier. That is blessing but in some ways a curse I believe. So many of us have thousands of images of our loved ones on our phones and on our computers, but rarely do we take the time to get those memories printed out to have as keepsakes or beautiful wall art. This is where I can help!
Whether it’s a special anniversary party that needs capturing, family photos, a milestone birthday, high school senior photos, corporate headshots, team pics, I can capture them all. And for that reason, I am one of the most flexible and versatile photographers you will find here in the metroplex.
